You have purchased iZotope software from the iZotope store or a retailer and received a download link and a serial number.
You have subscribed to an iZotope membership or pro product and installed it from the iZotope Product Portal.
You have purchased iZotope software from a third-party vendor and received an activation code.
Scenario 1: You have purchased iZotope software from the iZotope store or a retailer and received a download link and a serial number.
If you have purchased iZotope software from the iZotope store or a retailer, you will receive an email with a download link and a serial number. The serial number is a unique code that identifies your product and allows you to authorize it online or offline. To authorize and use iZotope software with a serial number, follow these steps:
Download and install the iZotope Product Portal from https://www.izotope.com/en/support/product-downloads/product-portal.html. The iZotope Product Portal is an application that helps you manage your iZotope products and licenses.
Launch the iZotope Product Portal and log in with your iZotope account credentials. If you do not have an iZotope account, you can create one for free.
Click on the Add Serial button at the top right corner of the Product Portal window and enter your serial number. The Product Portal will automatically detect your product and add it to your account.
Click on the Install button next to your product name and follow the on-screen instructions to install your product on your computer or device.
Open your iZotope software by inserting it in your host application (such as a digital audio workstation) or by launching the standalone application (if available).
Upon opening iZotope software, you should be automatically prompted to authorize. Here, you can enter your serial number, name and the email address associated with your iZotope account.[^2^]
